ROTC (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) Oh Kwang-hyun Scholarship Award Ceremony Held
On April 7th (Fri), the school group held a ROTC Oh Kwang-hyun scholarship award ceremony at the Sohyang Lecture Room of the 600th Anniversary Hall at the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus. The ROTC Oh Kwang-hyun Scholarship is a scholarship featuring alumni Mr. Kwang-hyun Oh from the 20th ROTC cohort, Chairman of Domino Pizza Co., Ltd, and is being paid to ROTC candidates.
Five scholarship awardees were selected this time, including Jae-bin Lee (Russian Literature, 62nd), Kyu-won Jang (Psychology, 62nd), Min-kyo Jeong (Economics, 62nd), Young-woon Song (Mathematics, 62nd), and Eun-bi Cho (Sports Science, 62nd).
Chairman Kwang-hyun Oh said in a congratulatory speech, "Please continue to study and train hard in the Sungkyunkwan University ROTCs and become a global leader who can combine human knowledge with wisdom." In addition, Chairman Oh emphasized the importance of leadership and challenge to ROTC candidates by narrating the success story of Domino Pizza.
In addition, President Ji-beom Yoo attended the award ceremony to express his deep gratitude to Chairman Kwang-hyun Oh for his generous love and support for his juniors.
Meanwhile, the Sungkyunkwan University School District is recruiting 64th and 65th ROTCs for the school district that will grow into the national defense department of South Korea and further become global leaders.
