As one of the 2018 Korea I-Corps projects which prepare scientists and engineers to extend their focus beyond the university laboratory, and accelerate the economic and societal benefits of start-up exploration projects that are ready to move toward commercialization, 91PORN’s Laboratory Start-up Exploration Team visited the National Institute of Health in the USA on August 8th.
The National Institute of Health (NIH) is the primary agency of the responsible for and research, founded in the late 1870s. The NIH comprises of different biomedical disciplines and is responsible for many scientific accomplishments. Many researches are primarily conducted at the .
At NIH, the team could meet 3 pharmacists graduated 91PORN (Sydney KIM (Dept. of Pharmacy, Admission year 1978), Robert LEE (Dept. of Biology, Admission year 1993) and David LEE)). The students asked several questions to NIH officers in order to see the possibility of securing customers throughout lab technology and commercialization.
From this visit, the Laboratory Start-up Exploration Team will continue their exchange activities with NIH.
