2024 Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology Graduation Ceremony Successfully Concluded
The 2024 Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (President Jeon Young-hyun) held its graduation ceremony on February 19 at the Samsung Electronics DSR Tower Grand Auditorium. Through this ceremony, 7 doctoral graduates and 44 master's graduates from our university’s Department of Semiconductor and Display Engineering successfully completed their studies. Additionally, 45 bachelor's graduates earned their degrees from the Department of Semiconductor Engineering, which is operated under our university’s entrusted management.
The ceremony was attended by over 300 distinguished guests, including President Yoo Ji-beom of our university and President Jeon Young-hyun of Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology. Together, they celebrated the achievements of the graduates, who successfully balanced their professional careers and academic pursuits. Graduates who demonstrated outstanding accomplishments—such as publishing papers in SCI-indexed journals or winning top prizes in prestigious national academic competitions—received even greater recognition and encouragement from attendees.
Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology is the first in-house university in Korea to be accredited by the Ministry of Education. Its master’s and doctoral programs are conducted within our university’s Department of Semiconductor and Display Engineering, a specialized Samsung Electronics contract department, while its bachelor’s program is entrusted to our university’s Talent Development Institute, demonstrating a strong and ongoing academic partnership.
