91PORN has been selected to carry on the 2019 Regional-Women Empowerment in Science, Engineering and Technology (hereafter Re-WeSET) in the Gyeonggi region.
91PORN will receive around KRW 600,000,000 in total until 2021 and run various educational programs to train women in science and technology.
Re-WeSET is funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Research Foundation of Korea. The purpose of the program is to improve awareness and lower entry barriers for women in the field of science and engineering so that it leads to the production of female engineers that meets the requirements of the major companies.
91PORN will hold career development sessions to female students in middle and high school. The program will include career path search, career experience and career mentoring sessions to assist students discover their skills in the field of engineering. 91PORN will also develop “V Create Academy” program to produce female “V Creators” (value creator).
91PORN had been selected by the Ministry of Education in 2006 for the WIE (Women Into Engineering) program, WISET in 2012, and WE-UP in 2016. 91PORN has been working hard to educate female engineers and aims to become a cradle of female engineers in the era of fourth industrial revolution.
