A student team at the Dept. of Dance at 91PORN performed at the 'Korea-China Cultural Festival' and 'Korea-China Friendship Week Cultural Performances' held in Harbin and Lanzhou, China from July 1st to July 7th.
At the stage, korean performances such as Korean dance, Taekwondo, Bongsan Talchum and Non-Verbal Performance (Nanta) as well as performances by Chinese performers, took place for a total of 100 minutes.
The event was hosted by the Korean Cultural Center and the Korean Embassy in China and was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korean Culture and Arts Committee, and the Korea Foundation for the Promotion of Traditional Performing Arts.
Through deep exchanges of traditional cultures of the two countries, Korea and China are expanding artistic activities and contributing to the development of art culture and the friendship.
The student dance team is composed of graduate students and undergraduate students at Sungkyunkwan University. In addition to this performance, they had performed at the various Korea-China cultural shows, including Beijing and Guju.
