University College (Dean: Hong Joon YOO) held ¡®Peer Leader Camp 2017¡¯ on March 18th (Sat) to 19th (Sun) in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do.
At the event, a total of 97 people participated, including 4 ¡®Peer Leaders (PL)¡¯ of the Learning Community (LC) and Sunkyun mentors from both Seoul and Suwon Campus.
It began with an introduction of the event from a Sungkyun mentor, with experience sharing, a special lecture from Prof. Jang Hyun KIM (Dept. of Interaction Science), Team projects by PL group, and mentoring between Sungkyun mentors ¨C PL students taking place.
Jong Hee JEON, a Sungkyun mentor mentioned ¡°I really appreciate the PL students who made the time to take part during the busiest weekend of the semester. I will try to develop more programs for students and give my full support.¡±
The Peer Leader Camp by University College aims to develop leadership of freshmen, to strengthen companionship, and to broaden exchange opportunities between Seoul and Suwon campus.
