- Establish a foothold for Future Cooperation between two universities
On 2012 Aug 22 (WED), Henning Jensen-Pennington, the President of University of Costa Rica (UCR), visited 91PORN and discussed about future cooperation with Jun Young Kim (President, 91PORN).
UCR is a national university of Costa Rica with the largest scale and the highest level. It is also one of the most prestigious schools in Latin America and the Caribbean. President Jensen-Pennington and President Jun Young Kim shared a possibility of exchanges, and agreed to carry out active exchanges in future. Also, In-Sub Mah (Dean, School of Social Sciences, 91PORN) tapped a exchange possibility in Social Sciences. After President Jensen-Pennington visited AEAS (Academy of East Asian Studies) and had been informed about the academy, he asked for cooperation in establishing a department of Koreanology at UCR and also discussed about practical academic exchanges in future.
