University Press Achieves Selection of Six Titles for the 2024 Sejong Books List

Six books published by our university press (five in the Academic category and one in the General category) have been selected for the 2024 Sejong Books List, a program sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Publication Industry Promotion Agency of Korea.
In the Academic category, the following titles were selected: ¡øNext-Generation Convergence Biotechnology and Precision Medicine, co-authored by Professor Lee Jung-seung of the Department of Intelligent Precision Healthcare Convergence and 12 other scholars ¡øA Foundational Study on the Literature of Bai Juyi, authored by Professor Kim Kyung-dong of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature ¡øPerforming Bodies, Sensing Bodies, authored by Professor Emeritus Kim Kyung-hee of the Department of Dance ¡øLearning from Buildings, authored by Professor Emeritus Lee Won-jun of the Graduate School of Business ¡øJapanese Picture Postcards: Singing Colonial Joseon, authored by Professor Choi Hyun-sik of the Department of Korean Language Education at Inha University
In the General category, That Dawn, Your KakaoTalk Message, authored by youth counselor and philosopher Song Su-jin, was selected.
The Sejong Books Selection and Distribution Program identifies outstanding books in various fields and distributes them to public libraries nationwide. Our university press, which had seven titles selected in 2022 and ten in 2023, continues to uphold its reputation as a distinguished academic publisher with the selection of six titles this year.
