An Art festival, “Art/Student: Inseparable Connections,” created collaboratively by art college students
-Will take place on Saturday, November 2, at Marronnier Park in Daehangno, featuring diverse events such as exhibitions and performances
-The event will be a platform for collaboration among art universities in Daehangno, with participation from Sungkyunkwan University, Hongik University, and Chung-Ang University

The School of Art (Dean Ji-Sook Jung) is hosting the cultural arts event, “Art/Student: Inseparable Connections,” on November 2 at Marronnier Park in Jongno, Seoul. The event will include interactive booths, art exhibitions, and performances, providing art students a chance to engage with the local community beyond their campuses.
Along with our university’s art students, students from Hongik University's Performing Arts Department and Chung-Ang University’s Theater Department will also participate, establishing a space for collaboration and interaction among Daehangno’s various art schools.
At the center of Marronnier Park, a wide range of art displays and public engagement programs will be held, including ¡øCitizen-participatory exhibitions of cultural art capstone design projects ¡øMulti-disciplinary art exhibits ¡øSungkyunkwan University’s Design Society exhibition ¡øClub oil painting exhibition ¡øGraduating exhibitions from the Department of Fashion and Department of Film Studies ¡øA reading theater performance by the Acting Arts Department
Additionally, at Marronnier Park’s main stage, a band concert by six groups from Hongik University's Performing Arts Department and musical gala performances by Chung-Ang University’s Theater Department and Sungkyunkwan University’s Acting Arts Department will be held from 1 pm to 7 pm, offering citizens a unique cultural experience.
Other programs include a “Networking Table” for art students to share portfolios and business cards, and “Art College: Radio,” where students share their stories, creating a free and open space for exchange.
Dean Ji-Sook Jung of the School of Art remarked, “This event provides emerging artists, who will lead Korea’s future K-content, with an opportunity to showcase their creative works and engage with a diverse audience. I hope it becomes an occasion for their works to connect with a variety of spectators and for the artistic dialogue among local art schools to expand.”
