"Sungkyunkwan University to Hold 2025 Admissions Information Sessions"
Starting August 3rd (Saturday), sessions will be held in 13 cities
Special sessions for the College of Medicine on August 18th (Sunday) and Samsung Electronics' Contracted Departments on August 28th (Wednesday)
Sungkyunkwan University (President Yoo Ji-beom) announced that it will host a total of 14 admissions information sessions in 13 cities from August 3rd (Saturday) to August 18th (Sunday) for the 2025 academic year. These sessions will provide detailed analysis and strategies for the university's admissions process, along with various other helpful information for prospective students.
Hong Moon-pyo, the Director of Admissions, stated, "There is a growing interest in the latest admissions information, especially with the recent establishment of the Interdisciplinary Studies program and the expansion of the medical school. These sessions will be immensely helpful for students and parents preparing for the upcoming admissions period."
Additionally, Sungkyunkwan University will hold a special information session for its College of Medicine on August 18th (Sunday) at 6:00 PM in the COEX Auditorium. This session will offer tailored information on the recently expanded medical school admissions, including the number of available spots, selection criteria, and changes in the interview process.
On August 28th (Wednesday) at 7:00 PM, an information session for Samsung Electronics' contracted departments will be held in the Multipurpose Hall on the 5th floor of the Samsung Electronics Seocho building. This session will cover the 2025 admissions process and strategies for the Semiconductor System Engineering and Intelligent Software departments, both of which are operated in partnership between Sungkyunkwan University and Samsung Electronics. The Semiconductor System Engineering department, established in 2006, has consistently produced top talent in the semiconductor field. The Intelligent Software department, the second contracted department with Samsung Electronics, guarantees employment in Samsung Electronics' DX division upon graduation, provided students meet the minimum hiring criteria.
All sessions require prior registration through the Sungkyunkwan University Admissions Office website (https://admission.skku.edu/admission/html/main/main.html) and may close early due to limited availability.
