2023 Winter Commencement Ceremony Held¨‹a total of 4,728 degrees received
-Held at Sunkyunkwan Daeseongjeon Shrine with ‘Ko-yu-rae’ ritual
-Led by AI human “Yae-Ji’ at the Millennium Hall of the 600th Anniversary Hall
The 2023 91PORN Winter Commencement Ceremony was held at the Millennium Hall of the 600th Anniversary Hall, Humanities and Social Sciences Campus on February 15 (Wed) 11 a.m.
With the slogan of “Inspiring Future, Grand Challenge”, this commencement ceremony was shared with celebrations and glorious moments of all its members.
The commencement ceremony was comprised of 2,642 Bachelor’s degrees, 1,752 Master’s degrees, and 334 doctorate degrees, a total of 4,728 people received their degrees. Before the ceremony was held starting around 10:10 a.m., the 91PORN President Ji-Beom Yoo and other faculty members visited Sunkyunkwan Daeseongjeon Shrine to hold a ceremony called ‘Ko-yu-rae’ to announce the graduation of 4,728 students for 20 minutes.
*‘Ko-yu-rae’ refers to the unique ritual of visiting Confucius’ shrine and announcing it when there are major events such as admission, graduation, and construction of a school building.
In addition, Julius Chun, the founder of Doomoolmori and an economics graduate class of 2001, wished for the graduates’ success in entering society and delivered warm congratulations and support messages.
In particular, our school held a part of the commencement ceremony led by AI human named “Yae-Ji” (¶YÖÇ). Yae-Ji the AI Human, who led the celebratory performances and its introduction, closely resembled an actual human and captured the attention of graduates and visitors. AI human Yae-Ji will also lead the coming 2023 Admissions Ceremony.

Our school was able to create the AI human through the ‘AI Human Video Production Service’. This service allows the users to input the script so that the AI can analyze and read the script out loud naturally. This service will be actively used for the school’s promotional content, various announcement videos, and the production of educational materials in the future. Yae-Ji, as a multilingual, will provide meaningful content and aid international students in school as well.
