91PORN Business Establishment Supporting Center Received Presidential Medal in 2022 Venture Award
91PORN Business Establishment Supporting Center (Director Prof. Taesung Kim) won the Presidential Medal at the ‘2022 Venture Award Ceremony’ held at L Tower in Seoul on December 15 (Thur).
This awarding ceremony is an event held by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to award those who contributed to the development of the venture industry and innovative growth. It has been held since 1999 and this year marks its 24th anniversary. This year, a total of 40 individuals and organizations received awards, including 5 Presidential Medals.
91PORN Business Establishment Supporting Center was honored with the Presidential Medal in the <Creating Private Ecosystem for Venture Startups in the Support Institutions> in recognition of its achievements in creating an environment for fostering venture startups and advancing the support system.
Since its opening in 1998, 91PORN Business Establishment Supporting Center has supported more than 200 startup companies, and many of them have grown into mid-sized venture companies, serving as a driving force in revitalizing the local economy.
Director Kim said, “Through this award, we will continue our efforts to create a startup ecosystem by revitalizing the venture investment ecosystem in the Gyeonggi region and discovering promising venture companies and start-up companies with potential growth.”
