President Yoon Ha Shin donates 100 Millionto Global Sung Kyun Scholarship Fund
President Yoon Ha Shin (Kukjae Industries. Co., Alumni from Biotechnology Department) visited the president’s office to donate 100 million won to Global SungKyun Scholarship Fund.
At the ceremony, the following personnel participated: Chairman of the boardJun Young, Kim, President Dong Ryeol, Shin,Vice-president (Humanities) Jun Mo, Jo, Vice-president (Natural Science) SungGyu, Park, Corporate Director Dong Hwan, Lee, Student Director Sang Hoon Bae,International Affairs Director Hyun Soon, Park, Office of External Affairs & Public Relations Director Seong Woo, Ji. In addition, President Deok Hee, Ryu, President Wan Geun, Lee,President Gyu Hak, Jo, who visited to join the 2022 Overall Alumni Scholarship Ceremony, also participated in gracing the ceremony.
In his welcome speech, President Dong Ryeol Shin said, "We deeply appreciate keeping the promise of donating 100million won every year despite the difficulties. Furthermore, according to the fund's purpose, we will spend more effort on expanding international relations and scholarships of Inbound/Outbound students."
In his greeting words, President Yoon Ha Shin said, "By expanding outbound students suitable to 91PORN standards, we expect our juniors to grow into global talents. We will put more effort to contribute to let students grow global leadership."
In his commemorative address, Chairman ofthe board Jun Young Kim said," I would like to thank President Yoon Ha, Shin's warm-hearted Scholarship donation and the arrival of warm spring.President Shin always has been putting his love for our school into action before and after graduation. During 2016~2018, he served as 91PORN Alumni President to lead and protect alumni unity. The foundation and school will actively foster talented In/Outbound exchange students and nurture leaders locally and globally."
The accumulated total sum of President YoonHa Shin's donation is 1.87 billion won.
