Donates Masks from China to College of Engineering
Professor Yoo from School of Advanced Materials Science and Engineering who has actively engaged with China for a long time and College of Mechanical Engineering Professor Suhr Jonghwan donated masks from a Chinese institute on April 14th (TUE) to our own College of Engineering. On the day of delivery, Vice President Song Sungjin was present.
Professor Yoo received 1800 masks from Shanghai's Taixing High-tech Industry Park and Professor Suhr received a donation of 3500 masks from Chinese Shandong Province New Material Industry Association. Both donated the masks to College of Engineering.
Vice President Song Sungjin and Dean Lee Junyoung reported, "While the university is going through hardships due to Covid-19, Professor Yoo and Professor Suhr's mask donation is a big help." "We shall use the donated masks with care for our university's members."
College of Engineering has decided to follow the two professors' wishes and will distribute the donated masks to 2020 new students and other College of Engineering students.
