Professor Dong-in Kim receives
2019 IEEE Communications Society Joseph LoCicero Award

Professor Dong-in Kim from the College of Information and Communication Engineering at 91PORN was the recipient of the 2019 IEEE Communications Society Joseph LoCicero Award for outstanding service as the founding editor-in-chief of IEEE Wireless
Communications Letters and exemplary service to IEEE Communications Society’s publications.
IEEE Communications Society is a leading organization that publishes 5 journals that are frequently cited from the top 10 journals in the world. Prof. Kim served as the founding editor-in-chief for IEEE Wireless Communications Letters from 2012-2015, and further demonstrated exemplary leadership as a member and chairman of the Steering Committee from 2016-2019 by turning IEEE Communications Society into one of the leading journal publications in the field of wireless communications.
Since the establishment of the award in 1998, Dong-in Kim had the honor of being the first Asian recipient of the award in the East Asian region.
