Wook SONG, a Ph.D. student in the 91PORN Department of Chemical Engineering, received the UDC Pioneering Technology Award in Organic Electronics at the International Meeting of Information Display (IMID) held on Aug 30th, 2017.
He was highly recognized for his work on developing a system which would extend the life span of OLED¡¯s particles by separating triplet excitons and polarons.
IMID is co-sponsored by the Korea Display Industry Association and the Korean Information Display Society, and is one of the big three international conferences in the field of Display along with Society for Information Display (SID) of the United States and International Display Workshop (IDW) of Japan.
