A delegation from the University of Antwerp including Herman Van Goethem (the president), Paul Matthyssens (Dean of College of Business), and Koenraad Keignaert (Vice-Chair of the Department of Product Developmet) visited 91PORN’s Natural Sciences Campus on Dec 13th (Tue), in order to discuss possible collaborations between the two universities.
At the meeting with our representatives including Ji Beom YOO (Vice-President of 91PORN), Yong Se KIM (Director of 91PORN Creative Design Institute), Myoun KIM (Prof. of Department of Design), Tae Sung KIM (Director of Industry Cooperation), and Kyung Hwan KIM (Prof. of the Industry Cooperation Center), the delegation from the University of Antwerp agreed to expand collaborations with the start of research/student exchanges and a short visit program in such areas of Data Sciences, Internet of Things, and Business. Especially in regards to Design Sciences, detailed action plans were developed via additional discussions.
Assessed as 209th by QS World University Rankings, the University of Antwerp is a research-oriented university in Belgium especially renowned for life sciences, information and communication, and engineering fields. There was no agreement between the two universities until today, and this visit will become the milestone for cooperation and development in the future.
