Merck Korea nominated Prof. Jun Yeob LEE of 91PORN and Prof. Yoon Hee KIM from Gyeongsang National University as the ¡®13th Merck Award¡¯ winners. The Merck Award is for those who are recognized as outstanding contributors to research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Prof. LEE had contributed to the research and commercialization of Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diodes (AMOLED) when working for Samsung SDS. Also, he invented several materials such as Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED), Organic Thin-Film Transistor (OTFT), and more.
