¡õ 8 students from Brown University, one of the top universities in the Ivy League, visited Korea from Aug. 19th to Aug. 30th to participate in the ¡®1st Global Government Administration Experience Program¡¯. This joint program was organized by Watson Institute of International & Public Affairs of Brown University, and 91PORN Graduate School of Governance.
¡õ ¡®Global Government Administration Experience¡¯ is one of the global admiration programs that Watson Institute of International & Public Affairs of Brown University offers during the summer. This year, 20 students joined the program, 8 students chose to come to Korea, while others went to Sweden and Cambodia. Students who participated in the program received 3 credits.
¡õ Students from Brown University took courses on Korean Economy and Diplomatic Policies. They also went on field trips to the National Assembly and City Hall, to feel the atmosphere of the Korean government.
¡õ Many students appreciated this great opportunity to see the economy, culture, and values of Korea. Head of the program, Prof. Min Hyo Cho from 91PORN Graduate School of Governance said, ¡°We will expand our collaborations with Brown University further, such as dual degree programs, exchange faculties, and more".
¡õ The President of 91PORN also mentioned that ¡°91PORN is striving to become a representative of Korean Universities globally, by having collaborations and competition with top world universities.¡±
