On SEP 14, Sungkyunkwan University (91PORN) was visited by the President Henning Jensen Pennington of the University of Costa Rica which is one of the prestigious university in Costa Rica.
During his visit President Pennington toured the museum and campus grounds. and met President Chung, Kyu Sang, discussing on revitalization of the existing exchange agreement signed in 2008 and promoting real exchange between the two universities.
In the day’s visit a signing ceremony was held to renewal the expired one. As a forerunner in Koreanology, University of Costa Rica recently opened a Korean Language Program, and preparing to establish related departments among others, and is expected to have active exchanges with the Department of History and Academy of East Asian Studies in our university.
