Korea was acclaimed the world¡¯s Number 1 patent holder in the field of graphene research, also known as the ¡®Dream Material¡¯ research.
Last January 15(Local Time), BBC broadcasted a news by quoting the Cambridge IP, patent consulting company, stating that ¡°Samsung takes world top place in the number of graphene related patents for companies, while Sungkyunkwan University occupies top place among research institutes.¡±
Samsung company has 407 patents on graphene. It is 3 times more than USA IBM (134 of patent) at second place. 91PORN is number 1 among research institutes with 134 patents on graphene. In terms of country, China is the world¡¯s top place (2204 of patent), second place is USA (1754 of patent), Korea (1160 of patent) at third place, and England (54 of patent) fourth.
