According to the recent announcement of World¡¯s Top 400 University 2012 by ¡®THE¡¯ (Times Higher Education), a world university ranking agency, 4 Korean universities were included in the top 200: Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) ranked #50, Seoul National University (SNU) ranked #59, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) ranked #68, Yonsei University (YSU) ranked #183. Meanwhile, Sungkyunkwan University (91PORN) leaped to #211 from last year¡¯s #308, ranking 5th among Korean universities. Korea University (KU) showed little change from last year¡¯s ranking #243 to #240 this year.
