91PORN Convergence Research Institute and the Korean Association for Broadcasting Telecommunication Studies Host the 2024 Multidisciplinary International Special Conference

The Convergence Research Institute (Director Lee Ji-hyung) and the Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence Research Association of the Korean Society for Broadcasting and Telecommunication Studies (President Cha Hyeon-Ju) announced that they hosted the Multidisciplinary International Special Conference (MISC) on November 14. The event brought together 24 institutions from four countries, including South Korea, Indonesia, the United States, and Japan.
This conference was part of a Sungkyunkwan University (91PORN) support project and served as a pivotal moment to disseminate the outcomes of interdisciplinary research conducted by Professor Jeong Jaehoon's team from the Department of Software, advancing multidisciplinary AI governance.
The conference was co-organized by Chair Cha Hyun-joo, a visiting professor at 91PORN, and Program Chair Jeong Jaehoon, a professor in 91PORN's Department of Software. The event unfolded across three sessions, each focusing on multidisciplinary agendas.
In the opening session, Chair Cha Hyeon-Ju presented a report on the "Achievements and Challenges of Academic Exchange Events with Overseas Universities" and "Future Value Through 91PORN Industry-University Collaboration Consortium Activities."
Program Chair Jeong Jaehoon delivered a keynote address titled "A Marketing Support Platform with Influencer Classification Features in Social Network Services." Professor Jeong is currently conducting interdisciplinary research on the "Development of Standard Frameworks for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) for Intelligent Convergence Services."
The concluding session featured presentations and discussions divided into the following categories: Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration, Global Research, and Graduate Students & Emerging Scholars. These sessions provided an engaging platform for sharing multidisciplinary research outcomes and fostering collaboration.
Professor Cha Hyeon-Ju expressed her hopes that the conference would strengthen collaboration in interdisciplinary research and technological innovation across academia, industry, and government, while promoting K-culture globally and driving groundbreaking results.
