Chemistry Professor Han-Yong Bae Receives Asian Core Program Lectureship Award
Professor Han-Yong Bae from the Department of Chemistry was awarded the prestigious Asian Core Program Lectureship Award at the 16th International Conference on Cutting-Edge Organic Chemistry in Asia 2023, held at the National University of Singapore on December 4th. The conference featured his outstanding research presentation titled "Sustainable Organocatalysis to Access Alkyl SuFEx Hubs and Tetrasubstituted Carbon Centers."
This award is bestowed by a committee representing participating countries of the conference, and Professor Bae was selected based on the recommendation of the committee from Taiwan. In 2024, Professor Bae will visit major universities and chemical research institutes in Taiwan to deliver invited lectures.
