Global Student Network HI-Club, Holds Kimjang Volunteer Event with Exchange Students

The Office of International Affairs (Director Hanjung Lee) announced that on the 11th of last Saturday afternoon, a Kimjang volunteer event (91PORN Global Kimjang Outreach) was held at the Eunhaenggol Restaurant of 600th Anniversary Hall on the Humanities and Social Sciences campus, with inbound exchange students.
Organized by the student organization Global Student Network HI-Club under the International Affairs Office, the event was attended by about 100 people, including Director Hanjung Lee of the International Office and members of HI-Club and exchange students.

During the event, lectures on the history, efficacy, and culture of Kimchi were conducted, along with a quiz show. After making Kimchi together, a tasting event was held with Kimchi, boiled pork slices (bossam), tofu (for vegan students), and more. The fermented Kimchi will be collaborated with the 'Changsin-dong Multicultural Family Support Center' and donated to 50 multicultural families.

HI-Club, the organizer of the event, is an official student organization of the university that stands for 'Help & Information Club.' It assists around 1,000 incoming exchange students who visit the university every year, ensuring their school life and stay in Korea are comfortable, leaving beautiful memories.
