Prof. Dong-Hyun Lee (Department of Chemical Engineering) Won
the ‘Hyeongdang(ΞÌÃ) Education Award’ from The Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers

Prof. Dong-Hyun Lee (Department of Chemical Engineering) received the ‘Hyeongdang(ΞÌÃ) Education Award’ hosted by The Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers on October 26 (Wed).
The ‘Hyeongdang(ΞÌÃ) Education Award’ has been awarded annually by The Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers since 2005 to honor scholars who have made significant contributions to Korea’s chemical engineering education and to commemorate their achievements.

Prof. Lee has been conducting educational programs for more than 10 years at The Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers, participating in the company-led engineering practice competency evaluation (TOPEC) hosted by the Korea Productivity Center, and participating in problem development and supervision. He was highly recognized for his contribution to the development of chemical engineering education in Korea by conducting industry-university lectures at corporate research institutes such as LG Chem Technology Research Institute, Hanwha Solution, Hyosung Research Institute, and CJ Cheiljedang.
Prof. Lee has served as a professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at 91PORN since 2002 and has served as the head of the BK21 3rd stage project leader (2019-2020), 91PORN Engineering Certification PD (2011-2012), and 91PORN Undergraduate Experimental Subject Head Professor (2018-2022). During his tenure, he greatly contributed to the education and development of chemical engineering in the school.
